About
Meet Andrew Gaddes
Principal, Fortisen Legal Law Practice LL.b Grad Dip. Legal Prac.
Having spent most of my 19-year legal career as a litigator managing complex disputes, many of which required an appearance in court, I am no stranger to conflict resolution and working with opposing parties to deliver real solutions.
You could say I have made a career out of finding calm in the chaos for my clients.
I created Fortisen Legal so I could use this experience to help people just like you to move through the most challenging period of their lives towards a calmer, more positive future.
A bit about me …
- I have spent 18 years in the legal profession, working as a solicitor and litigator in commercial law, family law, criminal law, and domestic violence law, in both the State and Federal Courts in Queensland.
- I am a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, the High Court of Australia, and a solicitor and barrister of the High Court of New Zealand.
- I have appeared thousands of times in courts throughout Queensland, successfully assisting, advising, and representing clients on a wide range of litigation matters.
- I have the support of a team of highly experienced barristers and other qualified professionals at my disposal, should they be required as part of your strategy.
- I have a Bachelor of Laws (QUT) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
- I am a member of the Queensland Law Society and Family Law Practitioners Association. Through these organisations I stay up to date with trends and changes to relevant legislation.
